Corrective Action Plan

The Tribal Council hired a new Bank Rec Clerk in July of 2024 and a new CFO in August of 2024. The CFO has been working closely with the Tribal Treasurer, as well as the rest of the Tribal Council and the Finance Department staff, to ensure that appropriate financial policies and procedures are in place and followed consistently. The CFO and the Bank Rec Clerk have worked to implement effective internal controls of account reconciliation processes with the end goal being a monthly assessment of financial performance to be evaluated and reported to the Tribal Council.
