Corrective Action Plan

The Tribal Council hired a new CFO in August of 2024. The CFO has been working closely with the Tribal Treasurer, as well as the rest of the Tribal Council and the Finance Department staff, to ensure that appropriate financial policies and procedures are in place and followed consistently. As grant review procedures do not appear to be in place other than in an ad hoc fashion, the CFO will work with the Tribal Council and the Tribal Compliance Officer to develop written grant review procedures, including a monthly assessment of financial performance to be reported to the Tribal Council.
