During our testing, we noted that the Organization did not submit the required fiscal year 2025 documents to the FAC and GATA portals by the required due date.

Corrective Action Plan

To address these challenges and improve the timeliness of financial reporting and grant compliance, AAFS hired two additional finance staff members to support day-to-day accounting operations, grant reporting, and the timely completion of monthly and year-end closing activities. Management will continue to monitor progress toward these deadlines and ensure that adequate staffing and resources are available to support timely audit completion and compliance with applicable reporting requirements.
