For 1 out 1 vendor selected for testing, documentation was not available to support the noncompetitive procurement. Additionally, there was no evidence that the Foundation verified whether the vendor was suspended, debarred, or otherwise excluded from participating in federally funded transactions.

Corrective Action Plan

vendors and determining if they have been suspended or debarred and developed the Policy associated with. As part of the formal process documentation such as screenshots of the search are saved. A .5 FTE was hired to ensure compliance with this requirement. Additionally, a comprehensive process was implemented during fiscal year 2025 to ensure proper documentation and compliance with procurement regulations. This process will include: 1.Ensuring that all sole source vendor selections are properly documented and justified. 2.Verifying and maintaining records that confirm vendors are not debarred or suspendedfrom doing business with the Federal Government before entering into contractualagreements. We are committed to improving our procedures and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations moving forward.
