Accounting Policies: A.Reporting Entity - The accompanying schedule includes all federal award programs of Milestone Recovery and Subsidiaries for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022. The reporting entity is defined in the notes to the consolidated financial statements of Milestone Recovery and Subsidiaries. B.Basis of Presentation - The information in the accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards is presented in accordance with the Uniform Guidance.1.Pursuant to the Uniform Guidance, federal awards are defined as assistance provided by a federal agency, either directly or indirectly, in the form of grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, loans, loan guarantees, property, interest subsidies, insurance or direct appropriations. 2.Major Programs - The Uniform Guidance establishes the level of expenditures or expenses to be used in defining major federal award programs. Major programs for Milestone Recovery and Subsidiaries are identified in the summary of auditors results in the schedule of findings and questioned costs. C.Basis of Accounting - The information presented in the schedule of expenditures of federal awards is presented on the accrual basis of accounting, which is consistent with the reporting in Milestone Recovery and Subsidiaries consolidated financial statements. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate.

Section III - Findings and Questioned Costs for Federal Awards #2022-001: Reporting Requirements Criteria: The Organization?s major federal award carries with it certain periodic reporting requirements that are due 15 days following the close of each month. Condition: We noted seven instances in which a required monthly report was submitted after the required deadline, and two instances in which the completed monthly report had no indication of when the report was actually submitted. Questioned Costs: None Context: The monthly reports for October 2022 through March 2022, as well as June 2022 were submitted after the fifteenth day following the close of each month. The monthly reports for April 2022 and May 2022 were examined, but had no indication as to whether they had been timely submitted. Effect: None Cause: Staff turnover and management oversight. Repeat Finding: No Recommendation: We encourage the Organization to continue its efforts to ensure that all contract reports are submitted timely in the future.
