Prior period adjustments made after issuance of audited financial statements by management without documentation, controls, or explanations. These adjustments affected the beginning balance of net assets for current period.
Finding 2025-002
Mountainview Daycare Nutrition Program provides administrative services to twenty daycare centers during the Fiscal Year 2024-2025. The daycare centers submitted enrollment studies for their location which support the reimbursement rate for the meal program. We audited the application records and the study month information to determine the accuracy of the reimbursements. The auditing work determined numerous errors effecting the reimbursement rate received.
