Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION AND SCHOOL AGE PARENTS PROGRAM Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards and the Schedule of Expenditures of State Awards include the federal and state grant activity of the Westby Area School District and are presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The information in these schedules is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and State Single Audit Guidelines. Therefore, some amounts presented in the schedules may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the financial statements. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate. 2021-2022 net aidable costs under the State Special Education Program are $1,661,440. The 2022-2023 aid estimate is $448,589.
