Title: Note 4 - Federal Expenditures For Missouri Department of Transportation Managed Projects Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) presents the activity of all federal award programs of City of Wildwood, Missouri. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in the Schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the financial statements. The accompanying Schedule is presented using the modified accrual basis of accounting, which is described in Note 1 to the financial statements of the City of Wildwood, Missouri. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The City of Wildwood, Missouri has not elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed in the Uniform Guidance, Section 414. Certain highway and construction projects funded with federal awards are performed in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). MoDOT leads such projects, incurring all expenditures and handling the reimbursement requests. In these instances, the City authorizes MoDOT to use its awarded federal monies to complete the project. MoDOT accepts responsibility for any compliance requirements related to the federal monies utilized for the project. The City does not actually expend the monies, but instead causes the grant proceeds which it has been awarded to be transferred to MoDOT. During 2023, no projects were managed by MoDOT.
