Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.

Rate Explanation: The City of Pikeville, Kentucky has not currently elected to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
The City of Piekville, Kentucky was approved and received FEMA funds of $5,714 during the year ended June 30, 2023 for expenditures incurred in a previous year. Such expenditures have been included on the current year Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards based on the approval and receipt date.
