The Town reports these onthe accrual basis of accounting. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate. Town of Pageland (the Town) has adopted Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements forFederal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Those standards were adopted to fulfill the financialand compliance audit requirements of federal grantor agencies. For purposes ofimplementing Uniform Guidance, federal grant and loan awards were made susceptible toaudit and are included in the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards.

The Town expended a total of $2,795,613 in federal awards from January 1, 2022 throughDecember 31, 2022. Of this balance, $2,356,046 was expenditures related to the UnitedStates Department of Agriculture Grant for a new waste-water plant and upgrades to currentsystem. The Town also received $109,000 in community development block grants,$311,231 in airport improvements, and $19,336 in Coronavirus relief.
