Condition: The Organization does not have the USDA nondiscrimination poster displayed in the
dining rooms or offices to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Criteria: Section 225.7(g) of Title 7 of the Code of Federal Regulations provides in pertinent part
that sponsors must prominently display at the site and in the sponsor’s office, the
nondiscrimination poster developed by the USDA.
Effect: The Organization is not in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which
requires that a nondiscrimination poster be displayed in all areas where SFSP business is
conducted.
Cause: The nondiscrimination poster from the USDA was not on display
Recommendation: Machne Rav Tov will prominently display the nondiscrimination posters in
the dining rooms and offices.
Amount of Questioned Cost: N/A
Auditor’s Summary of Auditee’s Comments: The Organization agrees with the findings and the
appropriate staff members were trained to display the nondiscrimination poster in areas where
SFSP business is conducted.
