Purchases of equipment greater than $250,000 should be made using the sealed bid method. Condition: The City-Parish purchased Ford Explorers in the amount $729,080 without undergoing the bid process. Universe/ Population: Fourteen contracts totaling $24,633,089 were subjected to compliance testing. One contract for $729,080 was found to be noncompliant.
