Our audit of the Title I grant program indicated the following: Employees and their respective salaries charged to the grant program were not always approved in the minutes; and, Time and effort certfications were not able to be provided for employee salaries being funded by the grant program.

Corrective Action Plan

Business office to ensure that salaries for employees being charged to the grant are approved in the minutes, and that time and effort activity reports are maintained for each employee. Business office to recruit and train Director specific to all district grants administration with Superintendent approval.
