Finding No. 2024-001 – Management Agent’s Certification – Other Matter Criteria: The Project is required to obtain a Management Agent’s Certification approved by the USDA-RD. Condition: The Project did not obtain an approved Management Agent’s Certification for the year ended December 31, 2024. Effect: USDA-RD did not approve the Management Agent for the year ended December 31, 2024. Cause: A management agreement was in place between the Project and the property manager; however, the Management Agent’s Certification was not provided to USDA-RD for approval. Recommendation: The Project should implement a process to track all required USDA-RD documentation and ensure appropriate filings and authorizations are obtained on a timely basis. Reporting Views of Responsible Officials: Management agrees with the finding, see the Corrective Action Plan.
