Condition: The Town was unable to provide documentation to support a competitive procurement process for one vendor. Cause: The Town had a significant amount of turnover in managerial positions and procurement documentation was not filed in an organized manner. Effect: The Town is not in compliance with Federal procurement requirements. Questioned Costs: $243,488 Repeat Finding from Prior Year: No. Recommendation: The Town should implement procedures to ensure that all procurement actions are properly documented in the Town’s contract files.
