Cause: Due to the prior period restatement identified in the prior year audit, audit procedures were delayed which caused a delay in the completion of the audit and the filing with the Federal Audit Clearinghouse. Effect: The filing with Federal Audit Clearinghouse for the June 30, 2023 audit was not completed until after the nine months as required. Recommendation: Management should ensure that the audit fieldwork gets performed timely and that the filing is with the Federal Audit Clearinghouse is submitted within the required deadline.
