Title: Note 2 - Donated Food Assistance ‐ National School Lunch Program Accounting Policies: The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards represents the amounts expended from Federal Programs during the 2022‐2023 fiscal year as determined based on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The amounts reported on the Schedule have been reconciled to and are in material agreement with amounts recorded in the District’s accounting records from which the basic financial statements have been reported. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The District did not elect to utilize the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate. Includes $ 19,016,617 of USDA‐donated foods used during the 2022‐23 fiscal year. Commodities are valued at fair value as determined at the time of donation.

Following a Presidential declaration of a major disaster or emergency, FEMA (CFDA 97.036) awards grants to assist affected entities with the response to and recovery from such disasters or emergencies. In fiscal year 2023 FEMA approved $1,344,287 eligible expenditures for reimbursement for personal protective equipment for COVID.
