Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in 2 CFR Part 230, Costs Principles for Non-Profit Organizations, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.

Rate Explanation: The auditee used the de minimis cost rate.
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) includes the federal grant activity of SJRC Texas under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2022. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 2000, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Costs Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a select portion of the operations of SJRC Texas, it is not intended, and does not, present the financial position, changes in net assets or cash flows of SJRC Texas. Therefore, some amounts presented in the Schedule may differ from amounts presented in the financial statements. All of SJRC Texas' federal awards were in the form of cash assistance for the year ended June 30, 2022.
