Title: Basis of Presentation Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the Schedules are presented on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following cost principles contained in OMB Uniform Guidance in 2 CFR Part 200 wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Pass-through entity identifying numbers are presented where available. Rush did not elect to utilize the de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under Uniform Guidance. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate. The accompanying Schedules of Expenditures of Federal Awards and State Awards (the “Schedules”) include the federal and state grant activity of Rush System for Health (the “System” or “Rush”). The information in the Schedules is presented in accordance with the requirements of U.S. Office of Management and Budget Uniform Guidance, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Award.
