MLHS conducted COVID-19 testing and/or provided treatment for uninsured individuals with a COVID-19 primary diagnosis on or after February 4, 2020 and as such has requested claims reimbursement under Assistance Listing #93.461 Health Resources and Services Administration's ("HRSA") COVID-19 Claims Reimbursement for the Uninsured Program and the Covid-19 Coverage Assistance Fund. MLHS has recorded $7,422 on the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards consisting of $7,422 of claims submitted to HRSA with service dates during fiscal year 2022.

As of June 30, 2022, MLHS submitted $15,552,532 of claims to FEMA under Assistance Listing #97.036. The claims submitted represented incurred eligible capital and operating expenses attributed to MLHSs response to COVID-19. Per the FEMA and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) guidelines, the Network was entitled to 100% of the obligated claim submitted and has appropriately reported $15,552,532 on the Schedule for 2022. Of the amount obligated and reported on the Schedule in fiscal year 2022, $4,063,644 relates to expenses incurred by MLHS in prior fiscal years.
