Title: NOTE 1- GENERAL
Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule included all federal and state grants and contracts to the Agency that had activity during the year ended June 30, 2023. This Schedule has been prepared on the accrual basis of accounting. Grant and contract revenues are recorded for financial reporting purposes when the Agency has met the qualifications for the respective grants and contracts.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: The Agency has elected not use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance. Indirect costs were determined as part of the Grant's approved budget.
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and Non-Federal Awards (the Schedule) presents the activity of all federal and non-federal financial assistance programs of B.J. Jordan Child Care Programs, Inc. dba Beanstalk under programs of the federal and state government for the year ended June 30, 2023. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).

Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule included all federal and state grants and contracts to the Agency that had activity during the year ended June 30, 2023. This Schedule has been prepared on the accrual basis of accounting. Grant and contract revenues are recorded for financial reporting purposes when the Agency has met the qualifications for the respective grants and contracts.

The Agency received federal awards passed through the State of California and California Department of Education and California Department of Social Services. The total amount of such pass-through awards was included on the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and Non-Federal Awards.

Grant and contract revenues are recorded for financial reporting purposes when the Agency has met the qualifications for the respective grants and contracts.
