Accounting Policies: NOTE 1BASIS OF PRESENTATIONThe accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of Tempe Union High School District No. 213 under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2022. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of 2 CFR Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Tempe Union High School District No. 213, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position, or cash flows of Tempe Union High School District No. 213.NOTE 2SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIESThe accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards is presented using the modified accrual basis of accounting, which is described in Note 1 to the Districts basic financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2022.Commodities are valued at fair values as provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
