Title: NOTE 2 STATE ASSISTANCE RECONCILIATION
Accounting Policies: The Schedule of Expenditures of State of Texas Awards presents the activity of the state award programs of Houston Community College System (the "System") for the year ended August 31, 2022. Expenditure reports to funding agencies are prepared on the award period basis. The expenditures reported above represent funds that have been expended by the System for the purposes of the award. Separate accounts are maintained for the different awards to aid in the observance of the limitations and restrictions imposed by the funding agencies. The System has followed all applicable guidelines issued by various entities in the preparation of the schedule.
