Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the cash basis of accounting and accordingly, represent the total cash expended on the program. The Schedule does not include transactions that might be included using the accrual basis of accounting as contemplated by generally accepted accounting principles. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Therefore, some amounts presented accompanying in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of the financial statements of the federal program.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: Olive View-UCLA Education and Research Institute, Inc. has elected not to use the ten percent de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance, but rather the rates established directly with the respective federal agency.
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (SEFA) includes the federal award activity of Olive View-UCLA Education and Research Institute, Inc. under programs of the federal government for the years ended June 30, 2022 and 2021. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the SEFA presents only a selected portion of the operations of Olive View-UCLA Education and Research Institute, Inc., it is not intended to, and does not, present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Olive View-UCLA Education and Research Institute, Inc.

When no CFDA number had been assigned to a program, the two-digit federal agency identifier and the federal contract number were used. When there was no federal contract number, "NA" was used.
