Title: Loan/loan guarantee outstanding balances Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal grant activity of Habitat for Humanity of Omaha and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost of Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in or used in the preparation of the financial statements. The entity has elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate, as allowed under the Uniform Guidance. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Developments (HUD) Self-HelpHomeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP) grants and loans were passed through to theOrganization by Habitat for Humanity International, Inc. (Habitat International). The SHOP Agreement stipulates that 75% of each sub-grant from Habitat International to the affiliate is in the form of a grant and 25% is in the form of a loan.
