Accounting Policies: NOTE A - BASIS OF PRESENTATIONThe accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards for California Veterans Assistance Foundation, Inc. is presented in accordance with Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).NOTE B - SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIESExpenditures are presented in accordance with the accrual basis of accounting and are in agreement with expenses reported in California Veterans Assistance Foundation, Incs 2022 financial statements. Federal Programs: California Veterans Assistance Foundation, Inc. qualifies as a low-risk auditee in accordance with Uniform Guidance. Type A programs represent those with combined expenditures exceeding $750,000 and programs that also were deemed major programs based on the auditors risk assessment.
