Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) presents the activityof all federal financial assistance programs for the Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency, Inc. (theOrganization). The reporting Organization is defined in Note 1 of the Organizations basic financialstatements. Federal financial assistance received directly from federal agencies as well as federalfinancial assistance passed through other government agencies are included on the Schedule. The accompanying Schedule is presented on a basis which is the same basis of accounting as thefinancial statements. The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirementsof Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, CostPrinciples, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedulepresents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and doesnot present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization.
