Accounting Policies: Basis of PresentationThe accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) presents the activity of allfederal programs administered by the Organization. Awards received directly from governmental agencies, aswell as those passed through other government agencies, are included in the Schedule. The information in thisSchedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of the Uniform Guidance, Audits of States, LocalGovernments, and Non-Profit Organizations. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operationsof the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, orcash flows of the Organization.Summary of Significant Accounting PoliciesExpenditures reported in the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures arerecognized following the cost principles contained in Uniform Guidance, Cost Principles for Non-ProfitOrganizations, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
