Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited for reimbursement. The expenditures reported on the schedule of expenditures of federal awards related to Hurricane Helene were incurred by the Corporation in the previous accounting period, the year ended April 30, 2025.
The Corporation has elected not to use the fifteen percent de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
