The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the SEFA presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Authority, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position, or cash flows of the Authority.

Finding 2026-002: Federal Award Findings and Questioned Costs: Housing Choice Voucher, 14.871 Material Weakness - Eligibility, Reporting and Special Test and Provisions Repeat Finding 2025-004 I agree with this finding. Nan McKay has been contracted to update the Grinnell Low Rent Housing Authorities Admin Plan. The Executive Director has also registered for HOTMA training to be held September of 2026. Estimated date of completion on or before January 1, 2027.

Finding 2026-003 HQS Quality Control Inspections Housing Choice Voucher, 14.871 Material Weakness/Noncompliance - Special Tests and Provisions Repeat Finding 2025-006 I agree with this finding. A HQS Control Inspection log has been created and put into place as of July 29, 2026. This will ensure correct date restrictions and random selection requirements can be met.
