Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State awards (the Schedule) includes the federal and state grant activity of Gateway Community Health Center, Inc. (the Center) under programs of the federal and state governments for the year ended March 31, 2026. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance); and the Texas Grant Management Standards. Because the Schedule present only a selected portion of the operations of the Center, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flow of the Center.
Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, where certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Pass-through entity identifying numbers are presented where available. The Center did not elect to use the 15% de minimis indirect cost rate.
The Center’s Schedule reflects expenditures totaling $8,002,110, which is lower than the amount of Grant Revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026 financial statement expenditures of $9,002,110. The difference of $1,000,000 is composed of other grants which do not originate from a federal or state grant or are not included in the Schedule.
