Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal award activity of Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City (the “Organization”) under programs of the federal government for the year ended September 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization.
The Organization did not provide funds to subrecipients in the current fiscal year.
The Organization reported the following on the financial statements as compared to the Schedule: Total federal grant revenue $ 6,960,448 Total expenditures of federal awards 6,948,667 Difference from the Schedule $ 11,781 During the year ended September 30, 2025, the Organization expended $17,232 on a capital asset addition, of which $11,781 was paid from federal grant awards. The federal programs allocated for the addition were $4,812 for CSBG (93.569) and $6,969 for LIWAP (81.042).
