Capital Area Community Action Agency, Inc. and Affiliate operates full year Head Start/Early Head Start Programs. The Head Start/Early Head Start Programs provide comprehensive early child development for disadvantaged infants and preschool children and their families. Under these programs, Capital Area Community Action Agency, Inc. and Affiliate are required to obtain matching revenue from private sources and in-kind contributions. Capital Area Community Action Agency, Inc. and Affiliate did not obtain the required matching revenue and in-kind contributions for the year ended September 30, 2025, however, Capital Area Community Action Agency, Inc. and Affiliate has requested a waiver from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
