Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of the Town of Fayston, Vermont under programs of the federal government for year ended December 31, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, "Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards" (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Town of Fayston, Vermont, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position or cash flows.
The Town has FEMA Projects obligated during fiscal year 2025 in the amount of $1,229,183 for Grant #02140-84810-032. Of this amount, $401,249 was spent in 2025, $741,441 was spent in 2024 and $86,491 still had not been spent by December 31, 2025.
