Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State Awards includes the federal and state award activity of The Parenting Place, Inc. under programs of the Federal government and State of Wisconsin for the year ended December 31, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of the Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), Wisconsin Department of Health Services Audit Guide, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families Provider Agency Audit Guide, 2025 revision, and the State Single Audit Guidelines. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization.
Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are limited to reimbursement or grant stipulations.
The Organization has elected to use the de minimis 10% or 15% indirect cost rate under the Uniform Guidance as applicable to its grant programs.
