The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal award activity of the Town of Winchester, New Hampshire (the “Town”) under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Town, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position or cash flows of the Town.
The Town was awarded a federal loan of $2,609,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture under the Water and Waste Disposal Systems for Rural Communities program, ALN 10.760. The amount reported on the Schedule for this program includes the outstanding balance of prior-year loan disbursements of $1,421,135, which remains subject to continuing compliance requirements, as well as current-year expenditures of loan disbursements totaling $1,045,959. Accordingly, total federal awards reported on the Schedule for program ALN 10.760 were $2,467,094.
