Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) presents the activity of all federal award programs of the Lorman Waterworks Association, Inc. (the “water association”). All federal awards directly from federal agencies, as well as federal awards passed through other government agencies to the water association, are included in the accompanying SEFA.
The water association received funds under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (Assistance Listing 21.027), passed through the Mississippi State Department of Health, to support rural water infrastructure improvements.
The Lorman Water Works Association, Inc. participates in the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (Assistance Listing 66.468), which includes federal loans administered by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality. The outstanding loan balance at June 30, 2025, was $171,337.
The water association did not elect to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR §200.414(f).
