Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) includes the federal grant activity of Hope's Door New Beginning Center for the year ended September 30, 2025. The Schedule is presented in accordance with Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Guidance. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization.
The Schedule includes the activity of all federal programs administered by Hope's Door New Beginning Center. Federal expenditures are presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The Schedule presents total federal awards expended for each individual program in accordance with Uniform Guidance. Indirect costs are included in reported expenditures to the extent included in the federal financial reports used as the source of the data presented.
The amounts reported in the financial reports agree with the amounts reported in the accompanying Schedule.
The Organization did not elect to use the 15% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under Uniform Guidance.
There were no loans or loan guarantees outstanding at September 30, 2025.
