The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal grant activity of Johnstown Area Regional Industries, Inc. and Affiliates and is prepared on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this Schedule may differ from amounts presented in or used in the preparation of the basis financial statements.
The Organization allocates grant revenue for certain programs based on estimated percentage received from the granting agencies during the year. However, at times the actual federal or state percentages may result in immaterial differences for several programs when comparing the current year Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards in Schedule I to the prior period Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards.
For the year ended December 31, 2025, Johnstown Area Regional Industries, Inc. and Affiliates did not elect to use the 10% de minimus indirect cost rate as allowed in the Uniform Guidance, section 414.
