Notes to SEFA
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal grant activity of Cancer Research And Biostatistics (CRAB) under programs of the federal government for the year ended December 31, 2025. The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of CRAB, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of CRAB.
The data collection form and reporting package for the year ended December 31, 2024, were certified by both the auditor and auditee within the timeframe specified in 2 CFR 200.521; however, due to technical difficulties with the Federal Audit Clearinghouse website, the data collection form and reporting package were not accepted on the date of certification and were successfully resubmitted by management on a later date after the thirty-day window from issuance of the audit. Due to this late submission, CRAB did not qualify as a low-risk auditee for the year ended December 31, 2025.
