Notes to SEFA
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the ‘Schedule’) includes the federal grant activity of the Organization under programs of the federal government as of and for the year ended September 30, 2025. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Children’s Research Triangle, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, or changes in its net assets, functional expenses or cash flows of Aging Care Connections.
1. Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
2. The above programs on page 23, 93.044 and 93.045, Special Programs for the Aging, Title III Part B and Parts C are Grants for Supportive Services and Senior Centers, which are low risk Type A programs. Program 93.052 National Family Caregiver Support, Title III, Part E low risk Type B program.
3. Aging Care Connections has elected the 10% federal de minimis indirect cost rate. The Organization did not receive any federal insurance or federal noncash assistance and did not provide any amounts to sub-recipients.
