Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of the Town of Cabot, Vermont under programs of the federal government for year ended June 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, "Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards" (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Town of Cabot, Vermont, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position or cash flows.
The Town has FEMA projects obligated during fiscal year 2025 in the amount of $3,100,008 for grant #02140-84720-027. Of this amount $1,161,852 has been spent in fiscal year 2024 and $1,143,088 was spent in fiscal year 2025 and $795,068 was spent in fiscal year 2026. The Town had FEMA projects obligated and spent in fiscal year 2025 for $138,924 on grant #02140-84810-019.
