The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of Healthy Teen Network, Inc. under programs of the federal government for the year ended September 30, 2023. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Compliance testing of all general requirements, as described in the OMB’s Compliance Supplement, was performed. Compliance testing of specific requirements was performed for the major federal award program listed below. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Healthy Teen Network, Inc., it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Healthy Teen Network, Inc. MAJOR PROGRAM Department of Health and Human Services Assistance Listing # 93.343 Public Health Service Evaluation Funds Awards made under this listing fund projects that evaluate programs to enable the continuous improvement of the programs and services of the Department, and serve decision makers in federal, state, and local government as well as the private sector, public health research and practice communities. Funds may be used for research, evaluation, and statistics projects that would make significant contributions to the mission of the funding office.
Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting using accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
