Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Federal Schedule”) includes the federal award activity of the Young Men and Women’s Christian Association of Newark and Vicinity (the “Newark YMCA”) under programs of the federal government for the year ended December 31, 2025. The information in the Federal Schedule is presented in accordance with Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (“Uniform Guidance”). Because the Federal Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Newark YMCA, it is not intended to and do not present the financial position, changes in net assets or cash flows of Newark YMCA.
Newark YMCA’s Federal Schedule includes loans from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs which are classified as Non-Cash Awards (“Non-Cash Awards”).
