Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of the City of Malden under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2024. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirement of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principle, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the City of Malden, it is not intented to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the City of Malden.
The City of Malden has elected not to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards has been restated to correct the classification of $975 of federal expenditures between the CFDA No. 21.027, MO Department of Public Safety, and CFDA No. 21.027, MO Department of Transportation. Total expenditures of federal awards for the year ended June 30, 2024 are unchanged from the amounts previously reported.
