Notes to SEFA

The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of International Institute of Los Angeles (the Organization) under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of 2 CFR Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization.
The schedule of expenditures of federal awards has been restated to include the expenditures of $791,952 for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) (AL No. 93.558). These expenditures were omitted from the previously issued schedule of expenditures of federal awards. In addition, Assistance Listing numbers 93.596, Childcare Mandatory and Matching Funds of the Child Care and Development Fund, and 93.575 Childcare and Development Block Grant included in the previously issued schedule of expenditures of federal awards were incorrect, although these errors did not affect total federal expenditures reported.
