The grant programs are subject to financial and compliance audits by the grantors or their representatives. Such audits could lead to requests for reimbursement to the grantor agencies for expenditures disallowed under terms of the grants. The amount, if any, of expenditures which may be disallowed by the grantor agencies cannot be determined at this time, although the Hospital expects such amounts, if any, to be immaterial.
The federal loan program listed subsequently is administered directly by the Hospital, and balances and transactions relating to this program are included in the Hospital’s basic financial statements. Loans outstanding at the beginning of the year and loans made during the year are included in the federal expenditures presented in the Schedule. The categorization of expenditures by program included in the Schedule is based upon the grant documents. The Hospital has evaluated subsequent events through March 30, 2026, which is the date the Schedule was available to be issued.
