Notes to SEFA
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (SEFA) includes the federal award activity of the City of Woodville, Texas (the City) under programs of the federal government for the year ended September 30, 2025. The information in the SEFA is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the SEFA presents only a selected portion of the operations of the City, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position or changes in financial position of the City. Therefore, some amounts may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the financial statements. The City’s reporting entity is defined in the notes to the financial statements. Federal awards received directly from federal agencies, as well as federal awards passed through other governmental agencies, are included on the SEFA.
Amounts reported in the SEFA may not agree with the amount reported in the related financial reports filed with grantor agencies because of program year ends and accruals made in the SEFA that will be reflected in future reports filed with the agencies. Federal awards are reported in the City’s basic financial statements in the general and capital projects funds. Total federal awards in the SEFA include all federal revenues.
