Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (“Schedule”) includes the federal grant activity of the Organization and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets or cash flows of the Organization.
The Organization did not receive loans or loan guarantees for the year ended June 30, 2025.
The Organization is the recipient of federal assistance in the form of food commodities passed-through from the Greater Chicago Food Depository (the “Food Depository”). These commodities are valued at the assigned value provided by the Food Depository in accordance with the provisions of the Uniform Guidance.
