This report on Federal Awards includes the federal awards of the West Central Mass Transit District. The reporting entity for the West Central Mass Transit District is based upon the criteria established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.
There was one major program for the year ended June 30, 2025, the Formula Grants for Rural Areas and Tribal Transit Program. This grant was awarded by the Federal Transit Administration – U.S. Department of Transportation to the West Central Mass Transit District for the purposes of supporting public transportation services in rural areas and the improvement of their facilities and equipment.
The Federal aid is included in the statement of revenues, expenses and changes in net position as follows: Operating assistance: $340,000 Capital assistance: $987,450
As of and during the year ended June 30, 2025, the District did not receive any federal insurance or federal loans or loan guarantees. In addition, the District did not pass through any federal awards to sub-recipients.
